About SOT Bio Microneedling
SQT® Sponge Spicules are the core product of Hunan Sunshine Biotechnology Co., Ltd. As a pioneer in the field of sponge spicule hydrolysis and extraction, Hunan Sunshine Biotechnology has spent more than a decade refining the process to create the highest quality spicules. Sponge spicules have been valued in Europe for their skincare benefits since the 18th century and are sustainable products that do not harm the environment. Their sources are completely natural, vegan, 100% ecological, and uniquely prepared using micron biological spicules.
Our eyes can see sponge spicules as pure white powder without impurities. Under a microscope, they appear as sharp rod-shaped crystals or blunt spicules. Sponge spicules are typically 200-250μm in length and about 10 μm in diameter. The needle bodies are intact with minimal fragmentation and can penetrate the basal layer to the dermis. Each needle is deeply polished in a 60-hour Far-Infrared Vertical Drying Oven to achieve 99% purity.
Compared with traditional metal microneedles, the procedure is much easier and the risk of infection is significantly reduced.
